Inspired to create a salon that delivered exceptional service in an incredible space, Steph dreamt of Blondie Bar into existence. Culminating her many years of hairdressing experience together with her love and passion for beautiful interiors, she hand-picked every element in the salon to ensure it resulted in a modern space that encourages relaxation.
The Journey
Steph's journey in the world of hairdressing began at 15, setting her on a path that she has pursued with unwavering dedication for over 14 years. Her career's roots trace back to a quaint salon in Vermont, where she embarked on her hairdressing apprenticeship.
Eager to explore new horizons, she subsequently transitioned to a salon in Ashburton, craving a change of scenery that would expand her skill set and artistry.
True to the name, Blondie Bar specialises in the art of hair extensions and hair colour, with a particular emphasis on blondes.
